Starred server gone?

Hello! I tried to create a character on my friends server last night (Goblin) which had a star next to it indicating an experience buff for new players, but it was unavailable due to a high population I think. I just tried again earlier and was able to create a character, but I also noticed there was no longer a star indicating an experience buff. Is that just a temporary thing that I missed right at the end? I would hope not as that seems pretty unfair.

A server has a star next to it and gives the "Road to . . ." buff when it is low population and is set to Preferred. If the star/buff are now gone that means that the server now has a higher population and has been set to Standard. Honestly the EXP buff isn't really necessary as everything is gated behind the MSQ and the MSQ will give you plenty of EXP. "The Road to . . ." is only really useful if you are trying to level multiple jobs on a character within the first 90 days of creating it.

Ah, that makes sense. I thought it was a server just for new people or something to that nature. Still kinda sucks that I missed it, but I'll take your word for it not being needed. Thanks!
