I have been having this error since yesterday morning 2019-07-15, first time i managed to get in game on my character i tired exiting the inn room and it crashed,then any time i tried going back in game, i only managed to get to the character loading screen before it crashed because of that error.
I tried reinstalling the game, reinstall my drivers and change my screen refresh rate and it doesn't help at all. i was able to play without any problem before yesterday so i don't know what happened, but whatever it was it happened yesterday morning.

Does this crash happen when the game is run on DX9 ? Does it happen on DX 11? Are any programs running at the same time as the game client when the crash occurs? Have you tried disabling any overlays? If you have not done so already, please try doing a clean boot. Open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

I did everything that you said already except the clean boot and it didn't work . I run directx11 version and don't use any overlays and never used any.

Have any updates or changes been made to the PC? Does this crash happen anywhere else in game? Could you try running the game in DX 9 mode?

Another thing you try is changing the compatibility. To change compatibility mode, right click on the exe file (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\boot\ffxivboot.exe), right click it and select ‘Properties.’ Select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and select Windows 7.

Yup did all of those still nothing work i was hoping the new patch would fix it but still the same error. I doubt its on my end concidering i even reset my windows and still does the same thing .

One thing I notice is that the computer has MSI Afterburner installed, which has overclocking features.

Have you done any GPU or CPU level overclocking or voltage changes? This may be why you continue to see this issue even after reinstalling Windows.

If so I would recommend going back to default clock speeds, then see how well your playthroughs go.

Software overclocks will not persist across a windows reinstall. Just an fyi, not sure if thats where you were implying. Also i'm having the same issues as him and I went from being "fine" for months, to not being able to play hardly at all on the 6th of july. I changed literally nothing from the 5th before bed, and the 6th upon waking up.

To really mess with you, I have a 1080ti, and i've switched between like 4-5 driver versions. Same issue with all of them

I'm kinda "happy" that it isn't only happening to me so i know its not just on my end lol. I just spent a ton of money to upgrade my computer so having these problems suck
