I have been trying monk wondering what happened too it since SB as I used to really enjoy monk and tbh it is still quite fun, apart from A few flaws so I thought I’d throw my idea into the hat.

My ideas prolly would be.

Reduce GCD to 1.5 permanently.

Change greased lightning to award a point per success combo+positionals

Change tornado kick to proc each time you complete 3 greased lightnings. Which can store uptoo 3 of these.

Change riddle of wind and fist of wind (unsure what to entirely)

Change anatman to instantly getting 3 charges of tornado kick in a 2 minute cooldown.

Change Six-sided star too a high potency CD on a 30 second CD or something like this.

I feel like this would allow the job, to run at full instead of permanently rebuilding up, with rewards for combo’ing correctly and rewarding those correct positionals.

We would see TK bursts reintroduced without bringing back the unintended playstyle that came in SB.

Disclaimer.

I’m aware that balancing would have to happen, I’m sure at many turns there would have to be adjustments made to cater this. But I myself can not display numbers or changes to balance monks as I don’t feel they need a DPS buff just a adjustment in how it plays.

But I am only a new player, I joined the game after shadowbringers was avaliable for preorder. And have been mostly playing MCH this expansion so far

So feel free to tell me if these ideas or bad or put your own forward which could maybe make these ideas better
