Crazy Dancer Idea

So me n' a couple of friends were sitting around chuckling at the animations for dancers on a Hrothgar. and then someone dropped quite possibly the best idea for a dinky easy to make item for the clase I've ever heard. Scissors. Aesthetician scissors. because the barber does seem to really 'flourish' when he does his work and seems like the sort of man that would dance while he cut your hair. why not make they into a weapon. besides. who Doesn't want boomerang scissors. thoughts?

Exactly what we were thinking! wouldn't have to animate them closing or anything. could even forgo a holstered anim. just whip out a pair of scissors to fling around!

Kinda disappointed that after they told us Dancer weapons weren’t merely ’Chakrams’ but were instead a more versatile title of ‘Throwing Weapons’, that we didn’t get a wider range of weapon designs.
Everything is a circle of some kind, there’s no Boomerangs, Shurikens, etc. So yeah, I’m on board with Scissors too.

The battle effects for a lot of DNC attacks are rings though, so it would look strange throwing your non-ring weapon just to have the effect be rings.

They could easily have a couple variables to the animations. Rings, Boomerangs and Stars.
Or just blur them a little so that it could conceivably anything. If it's spinning fast enough anything will be a ring or a circle.

A master of the art can make all those squares make a circle. Or scissors in this case.

The Shire Glaives are probably the closest to something like a Shuriken, also we could steal some of Yuffie’s weapons here. I think more variety would be nice, hopefully we saw more in future.

Not really, because if you hurl a scissor as a boomerang, you'd inevitably have it spinning, thus forming a circle.

I'd love to have actual bladed fans as a weapon too.
