I forget sometimes that USA is really the only country in the world with free speech. Of course I think people should be kind to each other in game, and IRL; but people getting banned from the game for being offensive is crazy to me.

American constitutional "free speech" is simply that the government can't put you in jail for talking out of your butt. Aside from that, you can be censured by your not so adoring public and, as always, companies can choose whatever rules they want for their forums. Really, any entity can post rules for their privately owned public spaces and enforce them through bans of a temporary or permanent nature. And that's not even including libel and other things people can sue you for.

Good point. I wasn't taking into account that online destinations/forums/games are privately owned and therefore get to pick and choose there own rules for speech/content.

try me. if im tanking and you pull ahead of me? tank it. if im a healer and you yell cuz im not dpsing then heal for me. if im a dps, thank god i dont play those, you best not complain cuz im dpsing xD

The only "rule" for want of a better term I find silly is the whole "you spank it, you tank it" mentality. If you asked someone not to pull ahead of you and they continuously do, have at it then. You've at least tried to work with them. However, just outright refusing to pick up mobs because they aggro'd more isn't accomplishing anything. All you have done is given the healer more work. And no, you aren't "teaching them a lesson." Odds are if they're willing to pull for you, they couldn't care less.

It's kind of the same philosophy as purposefully standing in AoEs because the healer isn't DPSing.

Actually, if they die, then they can no longer contribute damage. This will make the run take longer. The reason they're pulling is because they want the run to go faster.
