Farewell stance dancing!

I for one say good riddance to the old system, as I felt it was sort of clunky after 3.0. Stance dancing was OK if you built up enough hate, but with DPS dancing on the edge of pulling hate it was sort of a "situational" method of tanking. For Warrior I felt it was pretty simple to swap back and forth, since it did push a lot of DPS that way. But for PLD it was pitiful, the trade off was something to be desired.

I'm glad SE saw this "clunky" way of tanks doing DPS, and just did away with tanks wanting to bump up their DPS during windows of opportunity. They just leveled the playing field and gave us a much better flow for combat as a tank.

That's my opinion anyway, and I play all the tanks. PLD is in such a sweet spot and I would hate for them to change it since I have been waiting for this moment for 5 years. Don't change PLD! Fix DRK since it needs it more!

Maybe they should have rewarded using the Tank Stance more instead of bowing to the DPS first mentality.

I dunno about "you guys" but I do know the community would be mad no matter what happened, we can agree on this. Because some portion of the community is going to get mad no matter what happens.

Me? I'm just annoyed they just drop the Stance stuff like a rock rather than trying to fix it. Stances aren't the only thing that got dropped this expansion and it just seems like a "Well we give up" attitude.
