Perfection

I really hope that the crafting ability, perfection is an oversight, and not working as intended. Prior to the patch, perfection was, well, simply perfection, in that you were guaranteed on the ensuing attempt success and 0 durability loss.

Post patch, success is guaranteed, but durability loss occurs. This is a major nerfing of the ability, and it's discouraging, since few of the synthesis abilities are worth a damn to begin with.

I'd be interested to hear from the development team if this is, in fact, the way they intended this ability to perform. If so, ; ;, and change the name to something else, please.

I noticed the same thing when I used it. It could be that it's not working as intended, but they do say in the the patch notes

A set amount of durability is consumed regardless of whether or not the standard synthesis or careful synthesis succeeds.

As NotApplicable stated, it is working as intended. If you do not wish to incur a durability loss, use it with Rapid. Rapid no longer incurs durability losses upon success.

Duely noted, thanks guys. I still think that the ability is nerfed in it's present form. I suppose it is what it is.

use it with rapid and careful only, when used with careful, pair with hand of the god for 0 loss.

Fixed, maybe. Why waste a Hand of the Gods+Perfection with Careful synth combo for no durability loss when you can use it with something else for a guaranteed heavy boost to exp/HQ chance?

i do use it with HOTG to get the 0 loss and i do it at the beginning, first action or when there is red orb.
