Square Enix, please think about both Casual AND Hardcore crafters..

First: RNG =/= challenge
Second: I would like that SE would make more "hardcore" recipes but in their own niche.
Gear and basic raid support shouldn't be considered hardcore, this should always be easy to made and supply, but everything else, furniture, bardings, orchestrion rolls, glamoures, this should be hardcore to craft with really high standards to just complete.

Agreed. RNG =/= challenge. If you want RNG, craft expert items with cheap gear without materia. Stop pentamelding if you don't want things to be easy! I've yet to see a single "hardcore" crafter who didn't have every single off-hand and primary crafting tool with 5 materia crammed into it. This whole thread is just silly.

So what you want is to never get new powers but to instead only have 4 buttons all the way from level 1 to level 80 with increasing RNG?

That poster was around for a while but they were a troll with an "elite crafter" act and a few accounts - if you look at the character name, they outright labelled it a bot.
