And I had 11 stacks of IQ, Greats strides and an Excellent Proc for the Byregot and it still only took the quality to 70% with 2200 Craftsmen and 2000 Control. So keep belly aching. I doubt they will make it harder, just nerf your 13 slot penta meld.

That's actually impossible. A max IQ 2000 control Great strides Excellent Brygots is almost 30000 quality with no Inno/Ingen and something like 70k with. The collectibles have a 40k bar. I've done a lot of manual crafting and know the output of Brygots very well.

She is not making stuff up I have done sim runs with stats that low there is little margin for error. A measly 4 pts of cp could screw her over with control that low and I know this cause I got screwed by 8pts CP and my control is higher then hers.

I have 2423 Control. 11 stacks of IQ with Inno and Ingen is giving me 16k quality on the lvl 80 Ishgard restoration recipes so good would be 1.5 times that ??? Excellent is topping out at 60k

It's not difficult and it's easily macroable with NQ materials though, yes.

I'm at 2448/2423/607 using HQ BB. I end with 33 CP spare.


edit : also there is plenty of slack in those numbers. 35000/40000 gets the full 58 scrips and 24000/40000 gets 43. The above macros finish with spare CP so you could close out with a couple of Careful Synthesis instead of the 1 Basic Synthesis, with Ingenuity up for both of them, allowing for lower Craftsmanship.

Honestly, I've found with the new Ishgard items that it really depends on if you get a poor proc on Byregot's or not. It definitely happens quite a bit. I've got several rotations that will get me 100% with NQ mats, but if I get a poor quality proc for Byregot's it ruins the whole thing.

If anyone is unaware you can instantly stop any macro by running another macro. I keep one with just one line : /echo MACRO STOPPED . Pressing this instantly stops your macro if, for example, you proc a poor on BB.

Yeah, though its not even worth it that much. You only need 35k of the 40k possible for max scrips and I usually still hit above that even with a poor Byregot's. I modified my rotation a bit to add in a couple more prudent touches and I still end up with 100% with normal mats and about 25 cp left of 618. Without specialization, I'd still be good.
