Hugged your family today?

As i sit thinking this morning what if it was my family that got wiped out by this horrible tragedy in japan.I cant help but think how very lucky i am.I have made many new friends in my travels in xiv and have become quite close to all my ls mates of elite an many players outside my shell.Although i miss playing the game with them i could not imagine how hard it must be for some of our japanese counterparts to be waking up this morning not knowing if they even have a family to hug.If they are alive or dead.While it seems our recruitment thread as become lol. I would like for everyone that reads this to stop an think of what our japanese counterparts have lost over this last weekend what we still have to be thankful for.I am personally very grateful for my loving family and friends.If you havent told someone you love them or gave that certain someone in your life that hug this morning do so please.Because as sure as i am typing this some dad will never get to hug his little girl again do to some random tragedy.

P.S. To all the residents of japan who have had ppl injured or killed in this horrific tragedy Elite would like to extend our condolences for this unfortunate event.We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

We're all extremely lucky to just be able to sit here and post on a silly Internet forum and play an online game. Think of all the people who don't have that luxury, even outside of the tragedy in Japan.

Anyway, yeah, it's easy to forget to look at the big picture. I wish Japan the best, and anyone else out there facing tragedy in this messed up world.

Sometimes I envy the little things in life, like how some other cultures are like this or why they act like that... or how well organized they are and stuff... ya know common thinking of things...

But then when this happens, I feel some people that had to go through all this in japan and stuff... I'm sure they kind of think this way too. Like "Why some countries hardly got earthquakes" and that kind of stuff... it's funny, but I guess that's what makes us humans.

Very true man. Compassion and empathy is part of being human. People in Japan are suffering all we can do is either donate and/or pray.
