I once saw a guy named Sigurd Stark. You see my character's name, Hjordis Schreck? Hjordis was the name of Sigurd's mother.

I couldn't think of anything clever to say to him right then, but later I thought of something along the lines of, "Son! How's Ragin treating you? Are you eating all your vegetables? Are there any girls you like? Oh, never mind that last question. That's kind of a touchy subject, isn't it?"
