Still getting severely degraded performance on DX9 and crashes on DX11. Please do not mark this as resolved just cause I dont whine about it "every" day.

There are a few more troubleshooting steps to try if you haven't already:
1) Set the compatibility mode to Windows 7. Right-click on the ffxivboot.exe file and select ‘Properties.’ Then select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and choose Windows 7.
2) Double-check that your anti-virus/firewall has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV.
3) If any part of your PC is overclocked (including factory overclocks), remove them. Check that your PC is not overheating.
4) Disable all overlays (Geforce Experience, Steam overlay, etc.) that may be active while you are playing the game.
