Trying to reach an old friend from XI

I was bored some time ago and decided to type in the names of a few friends I spent years playing XI with and one matched. His name is Laos Rob from <The Pong Squad>. Would anyone mind reaching out to him for me, since I'm on a different data center and can't seem to ever catch the dude online, by reaching out to either him or his FC for me? Tried making a character on this realm but it's not open unfortunately. If anyone can point the dude in the direction of this post I would appreciate it. Ambrose from Fenrir would love to catch up with an old friend.

Aaaah... another fellow player from FFXI. I've ported over to Lamia using one of my main characters on Primal today and tried a few times to message him for you. No response-- you're right, he's never seen online.

Any of the starting city-state's aetherytes gives you the options.
But you cannot cross-data centre with it. Just the servers in your data centre.
