




Blacklisting rmt is pointless. The account usually logs off in a few minutes and creates a new char, or it gets banned. They don't delete characters when they ban, so your blacklist is full of banned rmt bots lol.Not if 95% of it is gil spammers, but you don't want to delete the other 5% that represent actual obnoxious players. Unfortunately, this game doesn't give us a good way to distinguish the reason someone was blacklisted.
It's not every few minutes (though they may alternate if multiple spam bots are active at once). They'll last a few hours, long enough for blacklisting to be at least temporarily useful. While I agree that a separate temporary block would be preferable, since we don't currently have that our best option is to blacklist them (as well as reporting them).
