What do you do with a Blacklist full?

I’ve played MMOs long enough to say with 100% confidence that if your blacklist is full, the problem is probably you.

Not if 95% of it is gil spammers, but you don't want to delete the other 5% that represent actual obnoxious players. Unfortunately, this game doesn't give us a good way to distinguish the reason someone was blacklisted.

No point in listing gil spammers since they change names every few minutes. (Reporting them SHOULD block them for the remainder of your login, like it does in WoW.)

It's not every few minutes (though they may alternate if multiple spam bots are active at once). They'll last a few hours, long enough for blacklisting to be at least temporarily useful. While I agree that a separate temporary block would be preferable, since we don't currently have that our best option is to blacklist them (as well as reporting them).

Blacklisting rmt is pointless. The account usually logs off in a few minutes and creates a new char, or it gets banned. They don't delete characters when they ban, so your blacklist is full of banned rmt bots lol.

There is actually a way to tell, if their user name looks like them smashed their head on the keyboard they are Gil spammers.

That’s frankly none of your business, they can blacklist whoever they want for whatever reason.

If it's no ones business, why are they posting about it in a public forum?

If you have a full blacklist it's one of two things most likely unless you just like blacklisting for no to pointless reasons.

1. You're the problem and your blacklist is full of random people whom you started argument with.
2. you're spending way to much time in the starter cities blacklisting RMT spammers and not remembering to purge them off later. They get banned periodically.

I kinda doubt NA people are that worst than UE people and wonder if you're not kinda over-reacting... I've heard about polemics that sound like trying to hit a bug with a hammer if not a tank. Give yourself a break and relativise.

I have to visit US servers, because this sounds like a completely different world.
Seriously i am happy if people write anything on my EU server, the only conversation that is going around is in FC and novice linshell, no one uses shout or yell for gags and laugh. Never seen anyone using "N" word.
Maybe OP should play on EU data center, because i believe it is what she/he is looking for.
Playing without FC feels like a living on a postapocaliptic wasteland.

Eureka is the last place I've seen people talking in chat for ages. New maps are currently a bit more lively but never for long. Shouts for fates or hunt and that's almost all XD

Sometimes, in shout, there are some kinds of trolls against some kinds of SJW's but it remains rare (hopefully).

Most people (no) sound (at all) like playing in their bubble (chit-chat in their FC discord I guess)

It is not to blame the OP... Only, if we never blacklist anyone or almost, there are three possibilities :
1. We are totally indifferents and cruels
2. Nothing happens
3. OP is over-reacting

You should be able to safely delete the oldest names listed. If they were RMT, then they're definitely long gone. Those only stick around for a few hours to a day at most. And if they were actual players who annoyed you, it was long enough ago that your chances are pretty slim that you'd hit a combination of:
1) They're still playing.
2) You encounter them again.
3) Next time you encounter them, they're being obnoxious again.
And if all that happens, you just blacklist them again (and report if appropriate).

I'd recommend deleting the top hundred names and leaving the bottom (i.e. most recent) hundred. That should give you enough room to last a while.
