You said that classes were better at Ifrit than jobs. That would make jobs useless for Ifrit, no? It seems to me like you tried Ifrit once with jobs, lost, and just assumed classes were better. It is easier to beat Ifrit with jobs, it just involves a different strategy.
No, sir. I said that classes were more survivable in high-damage situations in comparison to several Jobs, and that it seemed inconsistent with the stated intent for the Job system. (o.x )

Ifrit and Moogle's super attacks are two examples that I used to illustrate my point about the incapacity of certain Jobs to endure extreme attacks, and how existing countermeasures, like DRG's massive -enmity on AF, are actually of little to no benefit in those situations. It is a consideration not only for existing content, but things down the road, as well.
