    Need help. Inventory woes...

Bet there's already some discussion about this. Hope u guys don't mind if I started my own. ;D

Simply put, I am now in trouble managing my inventories because 90% are populated with ingredient drops.

And because of this, I had to start crafting class sooner than I thought.

    My question is this:
-. Is there any suggestion what items I can sell/drop if I got to certain craft lvl? For example: since my WVR already lvl 15+, is it save to sell all hempen related products including moko grass even if there's +1 quality?
-. Is it alright if I just sell my things to npc seller instead. I find it quite a hassle to set up shop on my own and didn't really get the economic system yet. And yeah... I know npc rate are most of the time... less desireable. ;D
-. Any other suggestion on how to manage my ingredients loot? Examples are when I don't want to grind (let say...) culinary for a long time. Can I just sell the ingredients or should I save them in case they're pretty hard to came by. Or any other scenarios that involves inventory issues.
    - And regarding materia, i already got a bunch of low lvls and haven't learn to properly mend those since some craft skill are still too low. Had no idea what to do with it and apparently selling price to npc are really bad. ;D

Again, sorry if these thing already asked like a million times. Hope any of u can help passing some helpful knowledge.

Here are some simplish easy to live by ideas I had to deal with when I faced the same problem as you. (I came to Eorzea expecting ingredeint drop rate to be comprable to Vana'diel... I was shocked!)

If the item you have is ...
    1) Sold from NPCs for cheap, sell yours. Buy it from NPC when needed.
    2) Sold cheap and plentiful in the wards, NPC yours. Buy it from Wards when needed.
    3) Easily farmable (you've seen it drop many times), NPC yours. Go farm again (or buy from wards) when needed.
    4) Only small in quantity (1,2,3 rather than 99). NPC it. 20 assorted items in quantity of 1 or 2 just eats up space and does not really help you when it is crafting time.

Unless you've been farming specifically, chances are anything you've 'picked up along the way' is not that valuable. Anything that can be used for low level synths are not that valuable.

Once I adhered to this, I sold almost all the crafting materials in my inventories.

If you are pressed for Gil, you could check up the price of each item... for me, a few went for 4-10k each so at the end of the day I sold a 80% of my stock to NPC and the rest for about 50k total (which was a lot for me, as I have a bad habit of turning all my equipment into Materia).

What they said. I wouldn't hold onto any hempen stuff because it's low level only and those levels go by quickly. Cotton is a little more debatable so its up to you. Most players will probably buy those items from a NPC anyway. IMO you should save dew, linen, and woolen yarn, and velveteen, linen, woolen, and felt cloth. They either take a while to make (especially the higher level ones) or are expensive.

Heck, if you wanted to save even more space I would just keep yarns instead of yarns and cloth, since yarn can become cloth.

Already sold all hempen related. at least those are easily identifiable. ;D
Now comes food. Even tho there's some low lvls, those still gave 3% xp bonuses. And it's crapping my main inv. ;D
