Don't forget that every GCD you burn at least 400 MP.
So with ABC in mind you burn at least 480MP per tick.
As you see even with the least costly spells per GCD the MP reg is in the negative.
To level out the MP consumed per tick with the MP reg you would need around 6500 Piety on a 2.5 sec GCD.

If you reach around this point you only need lucid to cover up rais costs and more costly spells or you are just a WHM with superior MP management skills.
So in practice you are always at a loss of MP per tick and dependent on lucid and there will never be a gain in MP reg VS MP consume.

This seems vastly irrelevant considering that you're not including lucid dreaming but increasing the range of testing, it's basically an unspoken rule. If you're going to do the math you need to go all the way. Either way the two above posts are wrong in terms of math alone. Even ignoring the fact you won't always use a GCD per tic for whatever reason, mechanics, holding GCDs(doing nothing/using oGCD), etc it still just seems pointless.

Skill and situations vary, tic's don't.
