    A Small Gripe About The Friend List

    Hello everyone, I hope you're all having an awesome day

    I just read a thread about /invisible status and avoiding people, which got me thinking about the friend list in FFXIV and how it works.

    For example - If you add someone to your friendlist, and you find out that down the line you guys don't click anymore, you delete them and they're off your friendlist.... But they still have you on theirs, and they are able to see when you're online, send mails etc. (Though thankfully they are unable to port to your house!). I have name-changed to get away from people, but it doesn't do much good because I'm still on their friend list, even though they are not on mine.
    Sadly, jumping servers isn't an option... I have a great circle of friends and a pretty nice house that I'd like to keep! Not that jumping servers would do much good either, because you're still on their friend list @_@;

    If I remove someone from my friend list, I'd like for it to be a two-way thing, that I am removed from theirs too, but alas, it doesn't work like that in FFXIV D:

    So - a question to the devs: Would it be possible to revisit the way the friend list functions?
    And while we're at it, could we revisit the way that the blacklist functions now too please? Adding someone has become really complicated, unless of course, they show up in your chat log... but sometimes it's nice to just have them not show up at all! haha

    Have a great day!

    Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
