When using Plenary, people surrounding you get the Plenary Indulgence buff, which will add an additionnal 200 potency heal everytime you use Medica, Cure III, Afflatus Rapture and medica II on them.
Short answer, it trigger a 200 potency heal upon using your aoe spells for the duration of the buff.
It's nice when you need to use rapture/medica II. It's on a 60s cooldown, so it comes back pretty fast.
It does nothing on its own. But any AoE healing Spell cast by you during the buff will get an additional piggyback heal from Indulgence.
I heard you like healing so here's a heal for your heal so you can heal while you heal.
It's basically Largesse for your Medica/Medica II/Cure III/Rapture.
I've found myself using it in certain situations (the last 10-15% of Mist Dragon for example) where you're taking AoE damage on a rather consistent basis, or, if you wanna only use 1 AoE heal to heal after groupwide damage, it's a free heal, so why not?
I would have said it's more like SCH's Emergency Tactics. It's giving the target(s) extra heals on using certain actions (minus the barriers), except it's active as long as the buff is up and doesn't go after a single heal.
The basic answer is yes, if there's extended bursts of incoming AoE damage, and you're going to be using multiple casts of Medica/Cure III, or using multiple lilies on Afflatus Rapture.
It actually just makes the AoE healing toolkit WHM already has even stronger.
