Help - Is the Veteran Rank Rewards System still operational?

Hi,

My current Veteran Rank Rewards is currently at rank 3. The Number of Days to go to next rank is 30. Strangely, this number 30 remains as it is every day. The number never drops daily.

So, is the Veteran Rank Rewards system still operational or not? I want to get the Leonhart Costume set, but this requires the Veteran Rank 4 rewards.

The remaining days get lower when you buy subscriptions for the whole amount of your subscription and not on a daily base.

It goes by how many days you've paid for. You'll get rank 4 next time you renew your subscription for another month.

You can also buy these items from Jonathas in Gridania in exchange for achievement certificates that you earn by completing achievements.

I did go to NPC Jonathas at Old Gridania and browse the achievement rewards. However, the rewards I am looking for are not listed in this NPC.

I am looking for the Leonhart costume set. As per https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...teran_rewards/ , I need to increase my subscribed game time to 330 days. Right now it is still showing as 300 days with 30 more Days to Go to reach the next Veteran Rank. Therefore, if I am being impatient, can I now buy additional 30 days of subscription time and have my Veteran Rank upgraded automatically in this way? Please advise. Thanks.

You can also buy these items from Jonathas in Gridania in exchange for achievement certificates that you earn by completing achievements.

There used to be a lot more veteran rewards. When they revamped the system to have fewer, the ones that were removed were moved to that achievement certificate system with Jonathas (all except the fantasia, which was changed to a quest reward). But the ones that were kept in the new veteran rewards were not. The only way to get the Leonhart set is to subscribe long enough.

With direct credit card payments, SE only takes a payment when it's due, but if you want to pay in advance (like for getting vet rewards earlier) you can do that by buying a FFXIV game time card from a retailer and applying it to your account. That'd give you 60 more days on your subscription and your Leonhart outfit. (At least I think they only come in 60 day cards. That was the case last I checked.)

Ah, okay. I just knew some were available in that fashion at least. Yes, adding game time with cards directly definitely works. Think there are also thirty-day cards.
