In general: Yes. Someone took his time and effort to call me so I at least should give the person so much of my attention to ask what it is about. But even if you would not:

That is what the Mailbox is for. I am currently not reachable. It's not like they get a "The person you called currently does not exist. Please try again later" message, but they realize I am not available or have no time to respond.

It's ok if you prioritize others over you. But Many players prioritize themselves over others and I don't think any of the options are wrong, but certainly only one is supported in the game.

Another thing is privacy. Sometimes we want to do events and we don't want to show where we are to our friends. And I don't want to blacklist them just for this event, since removing from friends don't remove me on their friend list, only mine list. I's such an simple function.

You're assuming they don't want to be talked to all the time, rather than the occasional or one-off. This argument always comes up when people argue for invisible modes, and it never stands up to scrutiny. Sometimes it's just easier to be in an invisible state than explain to a dozen people that no, today you just want to decompress.

I mean.. you could just.. put the busy icon on. You don't get tells when it's on. And if these people are on your friend list they can mail you anyway, so being hidden wouldn't stop them from doing that. Honestly we already have the tools I just don't see the point. Busy icon does it's job, and if you want to bring up - But they still see me- Yeah? Even if they didn't they can STILL mail you. So honestly... update your status info and busy icon. Boom.. success.

You could, and it would solve the problem in the interim. But then you get the issue down the line of people asking things like "Why didn't you talk to me yesterday? Did I do something wrong? Is something wrong?" and so on. Basically the problem people generally wish to obviate with an invisible mode. Depending on how much development time it'd take to implement, there's nothing wrong with adding more tools of this nature.

1) You don't know they are trolls or whatever when you add them
2) removing them from your friendlist doesnt remove you from their
3) Busy is like cutting your leg because it hurts sure it wont hurt anymore but i'd rather not rely on that
4) ignoring/refusing to do whatever your friends are asking for will end up with them no bothering asking you again.

yes, that is a natural reaction to what is suggested based on the persons actions to not be social. that just like real life, if you ignore your friends they will stop reaching out.
