It was after the raid, so it's fine XD

What I mean is, you can splash the lava and water droplets come out of it, and the chat says that you splash the water.

I think he's more referring to the fact that you are, well, standing on lava, being something that you generally could not actually do without burning to death.

Of course, thats more of a *video game* oddity than an ff14 specific one, as there are many games where you can stand in, swim in, fish from, drink from, etc, lava without any real consequences beyond taking a little damage.

It is a scary place, though I braved it nonetheless to take a screenshot. Quieter than usual by virtue of the expansion launching recently but there was still a lot of odd sights to be witnessed.
