    I know that during The Twinning dungeon there is an enemy on the way to the 2nd boss that has an interruptable ability called Beserk that boosts it's damage. And if you pull big you really need to interrupt that. If you don't, even a well geared healer will have a very hard time keeping you alive. It's one of those dungeons that you may have to use a tank LB if you decided to pull big.

    I don't think it's anything new to use Silence-based actions in high end content though is it. Off top of my head, o7s required someone to Silence Ultros from using stoneskin and I think Wreath of Snakes has something similar with the first group of adds? There might be other duties that require the action but seeing as ranged DPS and NIN could fill this role, it wasn't so important for tanks to do it but the mechs still existed.

    i was disappointed to find out most cast bars cant be interrupted, despite the fact you can stun them.
    if it can be silenced, interrupt works.
    if it can be stuned, SOMETIMES it can be interrupted.
    i know its for important stuff when mobs build resistances, but training tanks to interrupt all stunable cast bars should be the direction they go.

    I'm struggling to think of a boss that has a move that can be interjected
    i though any enemy, when they cast something and it has "blinking" cast bar can be interject/stun/disable?

    I dont remember Holmgang stopping knockbacks for the player. I remember getting knocked back and stuck away from the enemy. Granted, that means I didnt bother using it for that so maybe they changed it in HW or SB and I didn't notice. IR on the other hand did stop knockbacks and I'm pretty sure it still does.

    there are some dungeon bosses that get a lot easier with interject. For example the Siren from Pharos Sirius hard mode.
