New Retainer window shows random incorrect Gil amounts

Sometimes a Gil amount will show when retainer has none.
Sometimes show 0 despite having some.
Sometimes shows different amount.
Sometimes is actually correct.

Date & Time: Since 5.0.
Frequency: Random
World name: Balmung
Character name: Mykll Valiant
Retainer name: All, have 4 total retainers.
Steps:
1. Bring up Retainer window
2. Take note of Gil
3. Check / Withdraw actual Gil on retainer
*Add more steps if necessary

I've noticed that as well. It's possible there is a bug where the Gil count isn't displayed correctly and it's a known issue?

I'm keeping an eye on the hotfixes to come and hopefully this little issue is there. Luckily the companion app shows the Gil count correctly there when offline.

I am seeing the same thing. Have never seen it show gil when there is none, but all the others yes.

For a while now I have tried to find some pattern and I can't find any. Like it showing half, or fixed percentage when off. Or it remembering the last Gil amount of retainer without refreshing it again, kinda like how the Search for an item works and you get misses until you refresh everything again. Or only if it is with me logging into the game in a zone with a Bell so that I am checking without zoning first.


Gave up and decided to stop being lazy and file a report. I just ignore that now and go back to old muscle memory of always checking Gil when I send the slaves out on more errands. Was surprised this was not brought up yet, unless it has and I just can't search right.

I also have the same issues except for showing gil when there is none. Occasionally it'll show gil and it'll be from one of the items sold since checking it, but it seems to be random as to when it'll show gil and what gil it'll show.

A friend noted that if you move something in/out of the retainer's inventory, it'll update the gil to the correct amount, but it doesn't stay working.

I think it only updates the amount when you summon the individual retainer.

Yeah, it's still a problem, but it's definitely not "random". It just updates when you summon that retainer when it should update all of them when you get to the menu that shows all of them.
