Low level gameplay: A growing problem

From my experience with new players or people who've gotten a recommendation to pick up the game... it feels like it's hit or miss. Sometimes I get people telling me "oh man yeah it's a blast! I'm at Lvl 28 and can't wait to see what the game has in store!" and sometimes I get "yeah, I'm almost Lvl 35 and it feels like such a drag..."

I think there's definitely an element of this being a "fresh" genre to a lot of people who've never ever played an MMO, so they come in, wide-eyed and willing to immerse themselves in the world. These are the folks who get really hyped when they get their first chocobo. Others aren't exactly dazzled and are quick to point out many things which they find are dragging their experience down, many of which are in the OP.

This comment's just a bit of a tangent, but I do agree with the OP. As the game moves forward, it's entirely possible that the tail end of things is affected negatively. SE really needs to take this into consideration.
