Fatigue revamped again?

I've been working, finally, on raising cooking and alchemy up some for the abilities. I was out fishing today for awhile and now i'm fatigued after catching a measly number of fish (~150). I know why the fatigue is in here, i run into it when i go mining or botanizing, but 150 fish? reallly? REALLY? its a pathetically miniscule number of casts, let alone fish, that i'm walking away with.

Has anyone else noticed a sharp decrease is the number of fish they can gather before the fatigue kicks their teeth in?

I haven't been fishing in a while, but I did recently and yeah, fatigue set in fairly quickly... I really dislike that DoL classes are still subject to this, while every other class can play to their heart's content.
