NVIDIA live crash

Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone is having any issues trying to broadcast to facebook with geforce experience streaming? Every time I hit start broadcast with Shadowbringers running the game instantly locks up my whole computer, and if I don't close it fast enough it restarts my rig. It's only happening on this game. Is there any solution to this?

How long have you been experiencing this crash Does this issue happen when you are not trying to broadcast Facebook? Could you provide a System Report?
Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

If this isn't happening only when trying to stream and no where else, it seems as though the Geforce Experience app and it's streaming function is causing the issue. I understand that you want to stream the game, but if this is causing the game to crash, I'd recommend disabling it.

If you still wish to use the Geforce app to stream, I'd recommend doing a clean reinstall of your graphics card drivers and a reinstall Geforce Experience itself.

Also try disabling any other overlay and program that may be running while these two are.

I understand the game works fine when I'm not using it. The purpose of the thread is to identify an issue and see if there's a potential fix. Do you have any suggestions or would I be better off using alternate streaming software. I'd prefer to use geforce experience as it is easy, and if there is a potential fix i'd like to know what it is.

I apologize for the delay in our response. The issue here is that there is an incompatibility between the game and Geforce Experience (even if these should work together). The game itself seems to be operating correctly when not in conjunction with this overlay.

I mentioned some of the troubleshooting before and I'm not sure if it's been tried. You can try reinstalling Geforce Experience while doing a clean install of the graphics card drivers. Close any other overlays that may be present (Steam overlay, Discord overlay, etc.). Also try a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.
