I think the reality of this situation is a group of butt hurt players are raining on a good idea because somewhere in their past they had decided that FFXIV wasn't worth their time and abandoned it or never gave it 'the time of day'.

Now those players want to bypass the fact that they gave up and had no faith so they can be counted amongst those that didnt give up?

Nope. Time tells all: decisions were made and thats final. No one can change that. You can keep trying to debase the ppl that gave this game and community its legs but you won't succeed.

The titles stand for far more than 16 ppl that cry "unfair" because they simply didnt care about this community until it was "fixed" all nice and pretty for them.

You have to earn your time. Even if there's no titles or helms or goggles or gloves, the achievement still exists.

Stop crying and accept fate.
