I believe people already got items for buying CE, so having a title is the same as wearing the item.

I also think that the whole 'vet' idea is somewhat misguided, I mean, you could get a suggestion such as this every patch saying "I endured the last patch, I would like a title for it".

I know that takes it a bit out of context given that the mechanics have been so radically changed/fixed over the past year or so, but the idea still rings through I think!

Also, say someone buys the game at 2.0 launch and plays for 6 years, would they never be a 'veteran'?

I don't mind titles in favour of long play time, months played in a row etc, but this idea in particular I am against. \^^/
Thanks for your opinion.

The titles represent something that you still can never obtain regardless of if the titles exist or not.

It is a time and place where many of you never existed. When Eorzea was ripe with so many opposites compared to its current state.

Alot of us love that we survived that. That's not a crime.

That's the funny part about all the ppl posting here under the pretense that their lack of support in this matter even amounts to anything.

No one really cares.

This thread has been a good example of the type of mass hysteria that ensues when dormant jealousy inside the very inner human core of us all occasionally awakens.
