    Constantly getting Error 90002

I also get some massive lag spikes occasionally, where my rotation will act like its gone back in time, i.e. back to riot blade instead of at the end of the combo where it should be. Im unsure what is causing the issue, I did just move to a different house with a different ISP, so I am heavily leaning towards that being the issue, I just am unsure how to go about pinning down the problem. I don't seem to have packet loss, I have tried running a ping test during these high lag spikes, but it just seems like my ping goes up to around 150 or 160. I've seen 150 ping before though, and this feels more like 400 or so, given how hard of a lag spike it is. And then about 1 in every 2 times this happens, I get kicked to the lobby with an error 90002.

Any advice/help or what I should go after my ISP for, would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to try the trial of pingzapper to see if that fixes the issue, that will at least give me a clue on it.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

When did this start happening? Does it coincide with your move/ISP change?

If so, that may be the first thing you may want to look into. Was there any other change in your PC or router?

What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

Yeah it absolutely coincides with the ISP change/move, I'm just unsure exactly what I should tell them that would help them fix the issue. There was no change in the PC, I did buy a new router for this as well, however.

As I said, I think the issue is probably on that end, Im just not sure what to tell them to try to get them to fix it, and was hoping someone on here had an idea how to go about it.

I learned something last night that might have been my own personal issue. ANywho, I was seeing a ton of Ipv4 loops going on in my resmon. Did some research on Intel Technology Access Service.exe (this is ONLY for IPAD's and things that can run in clamshell mode) (i.e. not desktops)

Opened up MSCONFIG, turned off ALL non windows items (most was intel stuff).. Rebooted, and testing now. I haven't 90k'd all night.

Thank you for the reply Koravel.

It sounds like your new ISP is running into some issues along your route to the server. Try contacting them and make a report. Unfortunately, there is little you can change outside of the your own PC and router.

This thread will be moved to 'Separate Support Required’.
