Opinions on Seraph abilities

1. Anybody wish that whispering dawn and fey illumination were stronger when used by the Seraph? They are literally the same ability/effect just replaced by a different icon and name. Not going to lie at first I thought they were stronger but it was all a lie! ;- ;

2. Consolation is great, on demand instant succor with 2 charges no problem there.

3. I really really wish you could manually choose who the Seraph would "Embrace" I forgot the Seraph's version of it. Sometimes I feel like you only get 2 GCD heals off the fairy. 20 seconds seems pretty short to me lol

4. Make Fey Covenant and illumination separate again lol Idc if the potency is how they are now, just sucks being forced to use both at the same time.

What are your thoughts?

I thought all her skills would be more powerful than Eos/Selene ones too ^^' even just a bit but it's not the case.

Imo Seraph isn't so useful right now, mostly for a lv80 skill and behind a 120sec cooldown i thought it would be more "awsome", animations are cool but well...i'm not really impressed by her skills.

We have lots of aoe it's a good point for sure but i have a feeling of uncomplete gameplay in general concerning the SCH anyway.

Is it safe to say that Seraph has the same stat scaling as Eos? In which case... why are Whispering Dawn and Fey Illumination the exact same? Seraph is supposed to be our Ultimate, but she only adds shields to her heals and a AoE heal that shields. I've yet to reach 80 on Scholar, but I'd like to have seen her abilities be a bit more... powerful.

SCH at 80 is underwhelming. I could forgive the Seraph versions of Whispering Dawn and Fey Covenant if the abilities were separate, like I could pop one and then the other once she leaves. On paper SCH seems okay, but our resources are a mess; Aetherflow, MP, Fey Gauge, Pet skills all are a jumble. Oh and just like at the begining of SB, they nerfed some our heals but gave us no adjustments in other places. I understand the faerie is "free" healing, but honestly the way she is now she's not as helpful since Embrace is really low. Plus the other skills all cost a resource, so how is that any different from the other healers. When SCHs get another spammable heal that isnt the lackluster Physick or Succor then we'll talk about being OP. But until then you cant nerf the faerie into oblivion if she's supposed to make up for the lack of those skills.

She's not terrible with her effective 400pot single target heal and the effective 600pot consolations you get... But she honestly just feels somewhat like the 3.x fairy. Like our whole Cooldown is to slightly un-nerf our fairy.

It's visually stunning but practically underwhelming for a 2min cd that only lasts 20 seconds. I'd rather she be like 1.5min and eat some fairy gauge. Or last longer.

By the time she appears and does her animation its already been 5 seconds of your 20 LOL. The fact that Whispering Dawn and Fey illumination have different names/icons of the Seraphs yet use the same CD timer is incredibly stupid. She'd be SO GOOD if they didn't share the same timer as EOS'.

She's really weak for such an important ability / CD.

In addition to the shielding on her embrace, Seraph's major benefit is Consolation, which is a 300 potency heal with 100% shield that she can use twice. This is almost the equivalent of two free deployment tactics adloquiums, which is also a 300 potency with a 125% shield. So the shield is a little weaker (and can't be recitation'd), but that's still pretty powerful. The whispering dawn and illumination equivalents are just there because Eos had them, and Selene is just a skin-suit she sometimes wears so Seraph might as well have Eos's abilities.

Not sure about this for all cases but I've noticed that if seraph is casting seraphic veil on a target near the end of her time and you try to get in a fairy ability or consolation you more than likely lose the ability as her desummoning animation takes priority but the ability goes on cooldown after the press. Not ideal when you need the regen and then seraph decides to clock out and take it with her only for the other fairy to come back and shrug at you while you decide what to do with your life.

Though you can instantly queue her ability after you clicked your Seraph summon skill. She'll do it before the animation is over.
