Game crashes after specific cutscene

Quest: As It Once Was- Rendezvous to F'lhaminn in Limsa Lominsa
- This is in between Heavensword and Stormblood expansions if that matters.

Talk to her, fade to black, fade back in, talk for awhile, fade to black, crash.

Nothing else seems to cause the crash, I've went to the inn to use the cutscene thing in there. I've went to my Scholar mentor and started a quest there that has the same transition as well and no crash. I had just done the MSQ just before this one as well and it had a cutscene which didn't crash my game.

I submitted a ticket and it's been 24 hours so thought I'd post here as well

I've also tried both Direct X 9 and 11 both crash, this is the error message for Direct X 11.

How long have you been having this issue? What have you tried to alleviate the problem? Could you provide a system report? apply. Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

2 days now.

I tried restarting my computer, making sure Direct X 11 was up to date, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and switching to Direct X 9 via the launcher.

On your system report, the graphics drivers look out of date. Please update them as a recent version is available. Could you also try doing a cleanboot?

Open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

I have done as you have asked and I still seem to be experiencing the same crash at the cutscene.

Oddly enough the game doesn't hard crash, I get that error message and I'm still able to use the chat and talk to my Free Company but as soon as I hit "OK" on the error message the game closes itself.

When you reinstalled the game, did you remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). If not, try doing so. Be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

Sadly still getting the same crash and same error message. Unless you wanted me to delete those files, then uninstall and reinstall the game?
