Consistent Crashing

today alone i have crashed ~30 times...

all but 2 have occured in a town (most commonly when teleporting to the town to turn in a MSQ). When the game crashes upon teleportation it will then crash 2-3 times in a row upon logging as soon as the game would be playable

I see so many of these threads, just bring this to someones attention further up the chain.

I haven't even seen anything official in regards to this issue or even acknowledgement considering so many threads being made.

I can not teleport to the Christalarium without the above errors occurring. I then get the error/crash 2-3 times upon logging into the game before I can finally play again.

What should be a 2 min run into town for repairs or quest turn ins turns into a 15-20 fight to even play the game.

I have been having this issue constantly as well, both using DirectX11 and DirectX9. This issue for me seemed to start happening after the most recent NVIDIA Game Ready driver (version 431.36). Today the crash has been happening on the 'Now Loading' screen after waiting through the player queue which just makes it even more infuriating...

I'm using an EVGA GTX 1080Ti and Windows 10 is updated fully.

I can not return to any town with out crashes... the only way to resolve it situation currently is to log into the game from a completely different computer at a friends house do the 20 sec of activity I wanted to do and teleport out before moving back to my normal computer.

at this point 99% of my crashes occur while in town. while crashes do still occur out side of town they are drastically infrequent compared to the almost guaranteed multiple crashes while in a city.

Hi, an update on my situation. I've been waiting for FFXIV to update past 5.0 to address bugs and similar issues and waited until now to do a total, absolute, clean reinstall of the game. I've updated all of my drivers, triple-checked that Windows Defender/Firewall is not interfering with the game, and every other instruction included in the support ticket response that I received.

The situation has continued as normal: I can interact and progress through any other portion of the game (Job Quests, Side Quests, Golden Saucer GATEs, etc) that isn't an MSQ with absolutely no hitches in my experience. But once I initiate a conversation at the Chamber of Rule with Bartholomew for the quest "A Sultana's Strings" (added in patch 4.1, and seemingly been revised for 5.01), the game loads, then crashes, and now I get these error codes:



I have no idea what else to do at this point.

Edit: At this time, I've lost nearly a month of my subscription due to not being able to properly play or advance in FFXIV.

In addition to the still recurring dx11 crashes while in town, since the 5.01 patch on Tuesday i have started to receive 90002 disconnects constantly.

Since Tue I have spent more time on log-in screens than I have in game.

Hi. I just recently came back to FF14 & my game seems to be crashing a lot yesterday for some weird reason. I'm not sure what's going on tbh & I've already tried various troubleshooting steps before making this post. Could someone please help me? Thank you. I'll attach a screenshot of the last known error I got when my game crashed. If you need any more information to help assist me better then please ask.

Did another complete reinstall, by the way. Now I get no error codes when it crashes, just the vague "Final Fantasy XIV has stopped working."
