I'm copying the message I sent in a previous support ticket. This issue has been resolved only by way of a friend logging into my account on their PC and finishing the quest for me. The ticket was as follows:

Both in the DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 versions of the game, the quest "The Butcher's Blood" cannot progress past a conversation with Lyse. Specifically, I initiate conversation with Lyse, which triggers a cutscene. After the cutscene ends and the game loads, it crashes. At what point during the quest this conversation takes place, I do not know. I repeatedly receive the following errors from the DirectX 11 version:

ffxiv_dx11.exe+11D381D
ffxiv_dx11.exe+610AC
ffxiv_dx11.exe+5F733
ffxiv_dx11.exe+11218F0
ffxiv_dx11.exe+1122F9F
ffxiv_dx11.exe+1125A55
ffxiv_dx11.exe+44B38C
ffxiv_dx11.exe+1A0762

The DirectX 9 version gives me these errors:

ffxiv.exe+EB12AC
ffxiv.exe+5B6AB
ffxiv.exe+5A322
ffxiv.exe+58B74
ffxiv.exe+E2BEC4
ffxiv.exe+E2B3C6
ffxiv.exe+E2C821
ffxiv.exe+E2ED37

The rest of the game works perfectly, except for that one quest. I can do other sidequests, I can travel, I can do anything except for continuing in "The Butcher's Blood."

Now, a different issue has arisen. I can now not progress past a cutscene triggered by speaking to Bartholomew for the quest "A Sultana's Strings." No error messages or codes this time, just the standard:

After three clean re-installations, this problem still persists. I can travel throughout the rest of the game, complete quests, and go about normally but I cannot progress through seemingly any quest that has cutscenes.

I have used TexTools in the past along with ReShade forks such as GShade and Stormshade, but I have not so much as looked at either of these since the problems have started and after the clean re-installations through Steam.

What do I do next?
