Housing Item Retrieval Issue

Hello all, I was hoping someone could help me out with this.

My friend Zyeriis has asked me to post this final request on his behalf (since they are unable to post on the forums). I'll do my best to convey the issue to the best of my abilities from what I've been told.

Before getting into the heart of the matter,
Please do NOT just put a link directing to the page regarding housing and auto-demolition, it doesn't address the problem.

Anyway,

Last year, while only subbing every so often in order to maintain housing status, the private housing he was maintaining was demolished while the FC house was not.
As both houses were being prevented from being demolished on the same day every time he re-subbed, losing either of them, let alone one, should never have occurred. And yet, it did, unbeknownst to Zyeriis. He never received notification ( email or otherwise ) that the house was marked as abandoned and for demolition.
He believes this had to have occurred right before auto-demolition was temporarily disabled toward the end of last year.

Upon returning to actually play the game at the beginning of this year, he logged in to find the FC house still standing but the private house and all of it's furniture gone, the npc that holds the items lost also not having his belongings nor the gil that should have been received when the house was demolished.
He just wants the items and gil returned ( the amount/items of course would be returned via the housing npc in the case of demolition, as if I recall some can't. ). As I was also a tenant of that house, i also like some of the items I put into the house as well, since I was a tenant.

He's told me he's tried to get GMs to help in the past, but was waiting hours after initial responses if they ever got back at all. It came down to he couldn't really be at the computer all day waiting to see if someone would get back to him y'know? So he just wants to know what's going on.

If there's a way to solve this, please be clear-cut. Just really want a straight answer if its possible to get the gil and items back or not. It was a fair amount and it was a lot of time and effort lost otherwise.

The owner has 35 days after the property is demolished to collect 80% of the gil spent on the plot as well as any furniture from the Resident Caretaker npc. After the 35 days the items & gil are removed forever and the GMs will not assist in retrieving them.

Yeah, that's what I figured unfortunately. No worries I know how that works.

He just didn't know if anything could be done since he said he was never notified of the demolition. The items and gil never appeared in the npc either ( so I was told ). So since it sounded like a bug or something on SE's end, wasn't sure if anything could be done.

I got the email for the FC house so I knew I could keep up with that if anything went awry.

If everything is gone though, I guess that is what it is. Just wish I could tell him why it happened, since I know he definitely kept up with checking in on it.

But in the end I'm just the messenger here, just relaying what I've been told etc.

Emails can be spotty, so if you're taking a prolonged break, you really have to keep track of when you last entered yourself. He could ask a GM for when the auto-demolition notices for the personal estate were sent and compare that to when he signed in to check the npc, but the best he'd likely get from that is helping them pinpoint a bug. He still wouldn't get his stuff back.

Ahh, I gotcha.

Its a shame he won't get his stuff back but, and he ain't gonna like trying to contend with the GMs again, but is what it is.

He'll probably just stick to his choice of not subbing again, which kinda admittedly bums me out but I understand his feelings on it.
