It was that way before the TP removal, but now even the lowest common denominator player is able to constantly AoE on a TP class.

In this new world so to speak having a MP class in your party is a drawback due to:
    1. Cast time due to turret mage design of every MP class, which doesn't do well in a constant chaining of groups + movement
    2. MP costs, which for some reason every MP class still has to pay for AoE damage
having leveled GNB to 70 by spamming dungeons, I cannot be happier with this TP removal/dungeon redundancy. The one place AoE shines, dungeons, can all be cleared in 10-15 mins by becoming a human Beyblade. Absolutely love it. It's made dungeons more fun for me from what used to be unbearable.

I also agree with this. I leveled GNB to 70 the same way (plus some other roulettes), and being able to AoE to keep aggro while also doing decent damage is way more fun than what we were able to do before as tanks in dungeons.

As they should be. Nobody wants to be in Tam-Tara for longer than they need to be.

Can we just once go one day without pissing and moaning about every single little trivial thing that happens please?

When I hear a lala squeak about trivial things, I put on my cap and get out my Orichalcum 9 iron.

I see no problem here lol it’s not like we weren’t already steam rolling dungeons before. Now we don’t have to waste so much time in old dungeons and the removal of TP is ok with me, it was just holding things back imo

I like these changes. The combat doesn't feel as sluggish as it used to.
And perhaps it's a way by SE to attract new people to FFXIV.
As most of us should know by now, one of the major reasons new people have such a problem with getting into FFXIV is the slow combat (compared to other games).

On the one hand, the removal of TP makes me a bit sad because the management aspect was interesting.

On the other hand, I welcome it because few things feel worse than choking out on TP in an aoe pull because the other dps isn't pulling their weight.

Not to sound rude, but... what excatly was intresting about the "management"? Specially as bard (or paladin) I never really "managed" my TP so much as spam my AoE until I ran out (and then wait for them to fill up again) because that was the only viable way to play. TP were never really about ressource-managment, because you couldnt really manage them - you couldnt switch between MP and TP, you couldnt really refill TP in an intresting way... it was just "either you have them or you dont"
