Yeah, your post didn't show up for me 'til after I hit post.

Then it no longer becomes optional. Or rather, it becomes an increasing inconvenience for players who dislike it because they now have to find more and more space or be forced into a system they didn't want.

So you would forego getting potential new and interesting abilities in favor of getting to push 1-2-3(-4-5)? ....cool.

If you're having that much difficulty with comfortable button placement, might I suggest a MMO mouse?

As someone who uses the keyboard for everything but some occasional crap involving menus... no. "Why?" I'm running this on a laptop while I sit on the couch. I have no good place for a mouse.

Though I will freely admit that, with regards to my "keyboard-only" aspect, I am surely in the minority. However, I don't think "buy a fancy mouse so you have access to more buttons" is a good rebuttal to this perceived problem.
