Why can't we rewatch ALL the cutscenes?

For example the cutscene that plays at the Crystarium when you have to talk to Y'sthola and Ryne. Quest in question is "More than a Hunch". You go to The Unending Journey and you can't rewatch that specific cutscene.

But more to the point, why are there multiple cutscenes like this that aren't rewatchable? I can recall quite a few that are like this, and a lot of them are voiced as well. It makes no sense.

The Unending Journey actually only shows true cutscenes, not scenes of dialogue (a good hint if a certain scene is probably on the Unending Journey is if you cannot move the camera around or don't see other player characters around. If you see any of that or can adjust the camera, then it's just a dialogue scene and not actually a true cutscene, so thus won't be on the Unending Journey. Unfortunately, a good deal of the story (like, a majority of it) is depicted only this way, so if you skip through all that, you're likely to miss it forever.

Really, I've said it plenty of times in the past and I'll continue to say it again: DON'T SKIP CUTSCENES!! Because you'll never know if that scene is now gone forever.

They might not be putting a bunch of them in, solely because New Story+ will let you redo stories. That's my possible theory?

That can't be it, that makes no sense on their part to make it replayable just for New Story +. My assumption is that it is due to incredible laziness on their part (too much time for *some* reason for them to do). Regardless of the reason why it's ridiculous this has never been addressed before and even that it's a thing.

Not all of them.

That has always been an issue. Even in ARR.

Currently I can't say it for sure, but it seems the missing cutscenes are the ones, where you can chose answers during the scene.
