Tried to log in on the Spriggan server this evening only to find my self in a queue of 1600+
and this is not the first time this happened.

Is there any way the server capacities can be increased? cos I can't log in and play this way.

No, that's why they created new servers. The servers themselves can't be expanded, but more servers can be added.
Unfortunately too many players had the same idea you did, of moving to the new server.

My guess would be the server was coming back from a server crash? That is the only time I see queues like that. Everyone is trying to log back on at once and they severely gate/restrict the rate of logging in to the world.

Other than those types of things (crash or coming back online after an update ), I don't see queues greater than 100, most typically around 50.

Though maybe i"m just lucky.

Hmm, interesting. During prime time on Leviathan after Shadowbringers launched I had 1500-2000 people queues, but now I am only seeing 20-50 people queues and it only takes a couple of minutes to get in.

Depends on the server. Twintaini and Spriggan also had this problem a week or so ago. Late at night the queue suddenly shoots up to 1000+(GMT). During the midday its just around 50-100. Might be bots, who knows.
