Typo in 'Responsible Creation'

NPC: Passionate Amaurotine, The Tempest (14, 27)

After accepting the side quest 'Responsible Creation', speaking with the Kindly Amaurotine and the Passionate Amaurotine, the Passionate Amaurotine will say:

You the child I saw speaking with the attendant earlier? I thought so. So young and already so eager to learn about concepts and creations. That curiosity will serve you well, little one.

I believe this is intended to be 'You are the child', or 'Are you the child'.

It might be and probably is a typo, as the relevant NPC group appear to enjoy propriety.

But it's also conceivable that it's not. The perception of the WoL/D as a child might create a casual enough context to omit the copula. See Wikipedia: Zero copula
