    just make Camouflage a 100% parry rate (which is 15% physical damage reduction) + 10% damage reduction for 15 sec instead of 20 sec with the same cooldown of 90 sec.


    Aurora can be improved by having 400 potency instead of 200 for 15 sec instead of 18 sec at higher cooldown of 90 sec instead of 60 sec.

    Heart of light needs a way cooler effect, coming from Passage of arms this feels like a major downgrade. The sparkle level cannot be compared.

    I feel like Superboilde should grant a shield equal to the amount of health used to activate it. So after the 8s invulnerability, there would be an additional buffer of sorts. This would match the flavor of the job + removes unfavorable interactions with healer cooldown usage.

    Roll the Gnashing Fang combo into one button to reduce that button bloat, either increase Heart of Stone to 20% or add a shield to it on par with Brutal Shell, buff Brutal Shell so the shield won't go down with half the damage from any given auto-attack, and change Superbolide to either cut current HP in half or create a healing absorption effect equal to half of current HP so it would still reward players using it like it was originally intended while making it less punishing for popping it earlier.

    Alternative possibility for Superbolide could be creating a barrier equal to a higher portion of max HP (50% or higher) for several seconds (8-10 seconds) that deals damage based on the amount of damage absorbed working much like Essential Dignity (so base of 400 potency or so and capping at around 1000). This I feel would allow the "obnoxiously bright meteorite" ability to have a mostly unpronounceable name (SOO-pur BOO-leed) make sense. They could also add the Holmgang-esque "HP cannot drop below 1" rule with it too if they wanted to keep it as the invulnerability cooldown.

    Before I hit level 70, I was actually looking at GNB skills and was hoping at lvl 70 that the Gnashing Fang combo buttons would change as you go through the combo (e.g. Continuation's skill would just replace whatever it followed). For example, if your Gnashing Fang combo is 1-2-3, your new combo at 70 1-1-2-2-3-3.

    I think pretty much everyone is in agreement that Superbolide isn't the best tool. Ignoring the fact that it's vastly inferior to Hallowed Ground, dropping your HP to 1 to obtain invulnerability in a game where server lag and player behavior can lead to ill-timed benedictions is hardly ideal. A lot of great alternatives have been suggested here so I won't add to the pile.

    Idk how you guys struggle with button bloat, i have no idea.
    It is not worse than PLD we used to play on.

    I play GNB on a controller and i only use 1 macro for self-defensive cooldowns, it just works fine for me and if i really need to press one exact CD i have them on R2+L2 hotbar.


    I am perfectly fine using a controller on GNB, i even have 1 extra space i used for a mount.

    I think continuation works well not being auto baked into the Gnashing combo. But specifically regarding the combo itself, it is equivalent to Paladin Atonement in terms of potency. So basically we have two more slots occupied for no extra benefit.

    I think there's a reason why SE hasn't just mapped out...every combo on one button. They do it in PvP just fine but not in PvE. I don't know why, per say, but they don't, so I just accept it.

    Brutal Shell does the same potency as Souleater, it's just split between a shield and a heal instead of just being a pure heal. I'm sure all tank healing was nerfed as part of their "healers should heal more" push.

    Superbolide is....interesting. While I don't hate it, I'm not in love with it. It's Hallowed Ground with a shorter cooldown, but at the cost of having a shorter duration and 99.9% of your HP on cast. On one hand, it's cool that they can come up with a new invuln skill, and as mentioned before, anytime someone uses an invuln they're likely planning to go into critical health anyways, so it does what it needs to do...it just scares your healers at the same time. I personally see that as a pro

    EDITS:
    Camo honestly isn't awful. 10-25% damage mitigation for 20 seconds isn't too bad, especially when paired with Aurora. It's the longest lasting unique cooldown if you think about it. Making it 100% parry with a 5% base reduction would actually be busted. 15-30% mitigation for 20 seconds? With a regen? And on-demand 15% increase with Heart of Stone? Too much.

    Blasting Zone is amazing. 800 pot oGCD every 30 seconds is a big W. I think turning it into a cone would be a bit overkill.

    Sonic Break. Oh boy. The ability to manipulate the cooldown of this skill with Skill Speed is hands down the best reason to keep it a GCD.
