Ok, so let me get this straight...all your potencies have been buffed compared to when you were level 50, and you're complaining about how one the impact on a temporary skill in your toolkit has been "nerfed" when synced at 50 ?!
You realize that level 50 content has not been changed, right ? That, at 380 potency at the end of your combo, you will completely destroy it ?

Y: I usually compare FFXIV with a theme park, but the Forbidden Land of Eureka won’t be a place where everyone would want to go. For example, there are people who don’t want to go to horror houses because they don’t see the point in getting scared on purpose. Everyone got potency buffs to make up for the loss of slashing debuff. Inner beast did not get a buff and fell cleave did not get a big enough potency buff. Not a hard concept to follow, or what I am asking. War needs potency buffs, that is all.
Slashing debuff was 10%
Heavy Swing : 160 -> 200 (25% increase)
Maim : 200 -> 300 (50% increase)
Storm's Path : 280 -> 380 (35% increase)
Storm's Eye : 280 -> 380 (35% increase)
That's a pretty heavy "make up", especially for a content that can be unsynced anyway and is, thus completely irrelevant.

Now look at the potency increases of the other tanks. Did they lose utility to provide slashing debuff or did they just get big potencies? Pld got 550 royal authority just on the 3rd gcd. Fell cleave is 590 but cost 50 gauge.
Which is not available in lvl 50 content, so irrelevant to the topic of Inner Beast
It also automatically crits during Inner Relase, is replaced by one Inner Chaos at worst every 30s, which also automatically crits...So, unless we have some definitive parses showing the gap between the two (or between the 4), I'm not sure how to claim that WAR's potency are too low.

Just because you dont see the numbers you want doesn't mean WAR is in a bad spot.
Dont conflate leveling skills/potencies to end-game numbers.
Saying Fell Cleave doesn't feel impactful enough must be a meme.
Look at fflogs and over all dps compares to the other tanks? And again with inner beast it never got the potency increase everything else got for losing slashing.
Never said it was in a bad spot, said it needs potency increases. That is all.
WAR is in a meh state regarding efficiency. It does what it was meant to do I guess? You can tank the current content with no issues. It will tank but won't dish anything worthy to the party that WAR must be a choice for something. There is no identity, it became a meme the Fell cleave machine.
The fun factor went down the slope, its a way too watered down priority system, its not fun its too simple. Not telling to go back Stormblood release levels of complexity but the class need some thought process or it will bore the playerbase to hell
Path/Eye average potency is 293.3
200 + 300 + 380 = 880
880 / 3 = 293.3
That means in one GCD, Inner Beasts 350 potency is more than the average potency you get from 3 GCDs. It's a DPS increase.
