easiest dps to play for end game.

I have seen some youtube videos of the big boss battles in this game, and I am worried I am not going to be good enough to handle it. I am mainly hunting triple triad right now, but sometime I do plan to do more of the main story. I have heard dps is the best job for someone new. Just wondering which dps is the easiest to do. If it matters I am playing on ps4 with a controller.

    For real tho

You just have to build up black and white mana with your skills, when both reach 100 you go into melee and use your melee skills and then you use your combofinisher(unlocked at lvl 68) at then you use your backflip skill and repeat. You also have two powefull off cooldown skills.
    And also 4 aoe skills.
And you have a healing skill and rez skill.

Only thing that can be a pain is mana but you have lucid dream that can help you.

You have to be lvl 50 tho I think to play redmage.

But I see you play arcanist, I would recommend you to play as summoner once you reach lvl 30 cause the class got reworked alot. Summoner isnt hard but you have to keep your dots up and manage your egi a bit.

My level isn't updating on my avatar. I have a level 31 Arcanist now. I have try most of the dps classes (except for pugilist). I have heard the black mage is the easiest to do because you don't really move around that much. you just plant and cast spells. I am also enjoying the rouge. It is fun to sneak up and backstab enemies. I have a hard time trying to target and see what is going on in big battles when I am in that close with the rouge. I also like the idea of bard. They are my favorite dnd class, and with their songs they get to be some support. I just worried managing songs is going to be hard to do. I appreciate everyone's time.

Black mage is easiest because its rotation is simple to learn and somewhat intuitive once you know what all the spells do and are used for. Black mage is hard because you have very little ability to do damage while on the move, and im sure one of the things that caught your eye watching those high level boss battles was how much moving around you have to do sometimes. Black mage does top tier damage when in rhythm, but that drops when moving(or dead because you didnt move). Red is a beginner friendly class like the other guy said. Bard can be a little micro-managey but its not too bad. Managing songs is always have one playing and know which order is ideal for your party. Beyond that its a class of proc, dot, and buff management.

yes Black mage is easy to play but extremely hard to Optimize and generally unfriendly for Prog because you cant just stand in one place the entire fight you gotta move for multiple mechanics and you really have to have the knowledge of the safe zones and such

red mage is probably the best bet and you can unlock when you get your arcanist (SMN/SCH) to level 50

You're already arcanist, so just stick with summoner. i think it's pretty smooth after the major rework it got.
There is nothing wrong with black mage. However, as you get into the higher levels there is lots and lots of AOE and moving about in the fights. So red mage or SMN is probably a better choice.

For me BRD is by far the easiest. You can keep moving all over the place without losing DPS which is a big plus and you don't have too many buttons to hammer constantly. With a good UI layout and binding things to mousebuttons and easy to reach keys while using lmb and rmb to move I found it the class that is easiest to 100% focus on the fight without fumbling any keypresses or having to look at my hotbars.

In fairness, current end game BLM has a lot of tools to help with mobility. It can still be hectic, and I personally wouldn't ever expect to be top tier; I know I'm not that good. But BLM has never been in a better position, it's got a lot of good things going for it, kit/rotation isn't overly complicated, and utilizing abilities well can keep you from not being able to do anything.

Thanks everyone for the input. My rogue is almost level 43 right now. When I hit 50 I can try red mage and other classes
