It does. If you're leveling it up from 1 I'd suggest just doing some palace runs until you have enough level to run Brayflox. It gets better from there. If you have a friend leveling up a tank that can pull the entire dungeon it's even better.

Plus running Deep Dungeon you get access to the other skills so you can do more then just Stone.

Really is it that way even at higher lvls? It's beyond boring but I want a healer too....

It is. On higher levels you'll spam holy and use blood lilys which is more satisfying but yeah, get used to cast 1-2 spells if no one needs healing.
However, since you're new to healing, I think that facing new content from a healer perspective will be nice given that you'll probably heal more till you adjust/get comfortable. Worth a shot, I guess. But don't expect things to be very dynamic at low levels.

Don't you have to pick one or the other at lvl 30 or can you lvl scholar and a summoner?
