Suggestion: FF13 Gunblade

I was wondering if the FF13 gunblade will ever become compatible with the Gunbreaker? As it stands now it is only compatible with Glad/PLD.

Probably never. They've never gone and added new FFXIII weapons when new jobs were added (such as for ROG/NIN), so I can safely say they will not change the Blazefire Sabre to be used by GNB (also the way the weapon is animated to be held as a GLA sword and not a gunblade - it also does not resemble a GNB weapon at all as the blade folds up into a small block which is worn on the hip when sheathed and is not worn on the back, thus if they did hypothetically change it they'd have to completely redesign the weapon's animations, a time consuming effort.

So I don't see this changing at all, as much as I would love to have Lightning's FFXIII-2 gunblade and shield for GLA/PLD instead (along with the armour to go with it) if GNB did get Blazefire Sabre. Sadly I don't see this ever happening though.
