    Gunbreaker Recommendations

    Hey community, here's a few things I'd love to see tweaked.

    Continuation: I believe a "Brutal Shell" Like buff should be added to Abdomenol Tear and the finisher Eye Gouge:
    • Abdomen Tear: Additional Effect: Partial Damage inflicted absorbed to HP
    • Eye Gouge: Next enemy attack [Only the ONE hit from the enemy is reduced by 5%

    Lastly, I'd love to see:
    • Danger Zone / Blasting Zone, should keep it's potency: Frontal AoE.
    -
    • Camouflage: Parry Rate + 100%, reduces by 10% per second, Reduced Damage taken by 20%, rather than 10%

    Maybe a buff that uses a cartridge;

    • Fusillade: Target Self or Party Member receives both Heart of Stone, Heart of Light, and Aurora.
    • Duration: 18s
    • Causes both Heart of Light and Heart of Stone to hold their respected Recast Timers
    • Additional Effect: When targeting a party member while under the effect of Brutal Shell, that effect is also granted to the target.
    • Additional Effect: Requires 1 Cartridge

    *Tweaked the % of the Eye Gouge down to 5%, from my original recommendation of 50% for OP purposes lol.

    Other than that, I'm having a blast playing GNB, it truly is magical.

    I have to agree on Dio with this one. I would leave their dps combo to specifically be their dps combo. It steals health in pvp because it makes sense to have something to keep it alive like the rest of the tanks. All that needs to be tweaked with GNB is it's mitigation numbers and perhaps how brutal shell work or its numbers. I wouldn't mind if Blasting Zone was an aoe like you said though for level 80 just as a means to play up how it was an aoe in FF8 and would make the upgrade a bit more worthwhile by being level 80. Something to weave in our aoe rotation and frankly I find it underwhelming we get 3 skills from 70-80. A much needed cartridge spender for aoe's, a cartridge grabber, and an upgrade to a skill we already currently posses feels a bit underwhelming imo. Even DRK gets it'saoe combo, an upgrade to its darkness skills, the aoe mitigation, the stackable plunge, and living shadow at 80. Maybe GNB just needs to be spread out better if anything but meh...

    Bloodbath has no place on tanks and even if it was it would be be overpowered on WAR again like in 3.0 because it would be able to completely sustain itself with its burst window.

    A lifesteal tool meant to be used for survivability "has no place on tanks" but it does on damage dealers?

    i consider he say the burst nature of certain tanks combined with bloodbath make it overpowered on those jobs and that thing don't need to come back but don't necesary mean don't have self-healing skills since we have ones that don't have the problem of scaling properly on all tanks.

    Ahaha so true, but I put emphasis on the fact that it's just on the next attack. So only one hit from the enemy receives that -50% reduction. One attack -50% isn't that outrageous is it? Not sure, it may be. Thanks for the reply =)

    The other issue with this is the lack of control. We use our dps combo.... to dps. Forcing it to be a mitigation provider makes it awkward since we don't actually have control over WHEN we want to use that mitigation buff. It just will happen after the combo and we can't hold that for very long. HP steals work for this because either way you're always going to need health and can regen it easily on the attack like soul eater that doesn't have a cooldown. But putting that on a combo that has proc's and a 30 second cooldown? Eh... not reliable or smart.
