Dancer feels like it's fun at the beginning. At 60-70, you're basically getting to learn your moves and also learn that it has a very strong AoE(like some other jobs in the game currently have due to all the potency changes). On top of it, Closed Position is really nice to work with along with Technical Step...until you hit 76.
Once you hit 76, even if you've been constantly praying to the RNGods that you want to get procs every time, the biggest issue is actually Esprit RNG. It's the same as it was for BRD's Wanderer's Minuet: Drought vs. Overabundance, except more exaggerated.
I know this is starting to sound a lot like another complaint thread about DNC, but they also left us in the dark in regards to Esprit having a proc chance. It doesn't say in the tooltip that your Esprit gauge has a CHANCE of increasing.
If SE would be kind enough to give us the rates at which the Esprit Gauge increases, it'd help us a lot and absolve any confusion that's caused by this since it's not every single Weaponskill/Spell on hit that we gain gauge."Grants Esprit to self and nearby party members upon successfully executing Standard Finish or Technical Finish. The Esprit Gauge will accumulate when you or party members under the effect of Esprit land a weaponskill or cast a spell."
Other than that, Dancer seems like it's fluid enough to play; the only minor issue I have with it though is how Standard Step continues to drift because our GCD winds up forcing us to clip, which is something that was unexpected when I first started optimizing. It's still fun though since everything's flashy, plus it has the utility dynamic going for it that keeps it busy with all the resources you have available to spend.
