I only read the first 3 lines of the first post on here before writing this.
Seriously? You're going to complain on the forums about a job you haven't even gotten to 80 yet? Also, you do realise that DRK has the highest APM of all the tank jobs right now right, only closely followed by GNB? How is it slow when compared to warrior exactly? or PLD?


Also, to all those naysayers on here complaining that Dark arts is gone...
Dark arts was a 140 potency buff to the next attack, for the most part. If Edge of Shadow was 140 potency it would function IDENTICALLY to dark arts did previously

Dark arts - Use an oGCD to add 140 potency on next GCD
EoS - Use an oGCD attack worth 140 potency (if, for the sake of this example, it was 140 potency)

SB Dark arts added 140 potency to Syphon strike, Soul eater, Plunge, Bloodspiller and carve and spit. It functioned like a 140 potency attack, only it added the damage to the next GCD instead of applying it directly.
Edge of shadow is EXACTLY the same as dark arts, only this time you can use it at max 3 times before oom instead of like 10-15 times during a SB delirium window and it applies the damage directly rather than adding it to your next attack.
DRK has not lost its identity, not in the slightest. All thats happened is MP was changed, and so it feels a little different, as does every other job that uses as much MP as us for its main mechanic.
