Why is the game asking me for a registration code again?

I’m almost level 80 and have been playing since early access? Played all last night. Tried to log on today and it asking me to register it.

Then when I put the code the code in, it says it’s already in use. Uh, yeah because I’ve already registered it. Several days ago.

I don’t play through Steam. I use the launcher.

Just to ask the obvious first. Did you register the actual game code, or just the early access code?

Early access was just a glorified release. No need for it to have a different code than release itself.

You have a preorder code. It wasn't the game code that's paid for. Theres a difference.

Search your emails.. I had one in June that has a direct link to the code. If you have email search, look for Stormbringer in the message bodies. That's how I found mine among all the other Square emails

You have the game brought already, just need to enter the code for the actual game, the pre-order is finished. so no need for that.
Just go to your Square Enix account and go to the orders, you should find the code there.

If your order isn't listed on the store's "Your Orders" page (mine wasn't), search your emails for one with the subject: "Square Enix Store Order Confirmation"
It will have a link that leads directly to a good code.
I received the email on June 7, but the date probably depends on when you made the preorder.
